I frequently use canned tomato products to make a variety of recipes so I went on an internet search to see if there was any consensus on who makes the best product.
The one brand that was mentioned by many chefs was Stanislaus. They are one of the only companies that control their product from the fields through packing. They pack their own.
Their products are in a class of their own. I will not use any other brand-even if I have to pay more. My sauces have never been better.
For myself, I will never use any other brand.
