We find that Red Pack tomatoes are a sweet tomato and we never have to add tomato paste.
We live in NC and we have tried many brands and we always return to Red Pack. I order them from a web site that Red Pack gave me. None of our stores carry them.

Would love to have the website to order Red Pack tomatoes. Walmart in Fuquay Varina carries them off and on. This brand is the best for home made Italian red gravy (spaghetti sauce).

You can find Red Pack Tomatoes at Wall Mart. I have used the Red Pack crushed tomatoes for pizza. Very nice flavor, rich red sauce.
We always put it thru a blender since we don't care for a chunky sauce.
