Chicken Alfredo Recipe Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb of Fettucini
  2. 2 cloves of Garlic crushed (optional)
  3. 12 tablespoons of Butter
  4. 2 cups of heavy cream
  5. 1 cup of freshly grated parmigiano
  6. Chopped Italian Parsley or sprig of fresh basil (optional)
  7. Pinch of Salt

Chicken Alfredo Recipe Preparation:

How you prepare your chicken is totally up to you and each way can create another incredible Italian pasta recipe. You can grill your chicken, broil it, pan sauté, boiled in water or even deep fried. They are all amazing ways alternatives that make this Alfredo recipe a simple and delicious meal.

Once you’ve cooked your chicken in the manner you like best boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta al dente.

Now is a good time to start preparing your sauce. This is how you make your basic Alfredo sauce recipe.

If you are using garlic, crush it and add to a sauté pan with some of the butter and heat until tender. Then add the rest of the butter and slowly melt without boiling or it will separate. Then little by little whisk in the cream.

Remove the sauce from the heat and add the chicken and the parmigiano.

When the pasta is complete drain and, in a perfect world you want the pasta to be ready at the same time as the sauce. Add it to the final step of the sauce.
