A Creamy Chicken Alfredo recipe that you and your whole family will love. This is the ultimate comfort food and gives a whole new meaning to chicken mac and cheese!

Who doesn't like chicken, cheese and pasta? Nobody I know.

So step AWAY from the box of macaroni and cheese and let's start cooking!

Chicken and pasta recipes are a delicious and healthy way to feed and satisfy a family and if you're cooking pasta for a crowd this is an affordable gourmet meal. One of It's economical, tasty and your guests will think you spent hours putting it together.

Feeding an "adults only" crowd tonight? Add a little kick to this Alfredo sauce recipe by crushing a garlic clove or two and turn this into terrific garlic chicken pasta recipe.

Chicken Alfredo Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of Fettucini
  • 2 cloves of Garlic crushed (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of freshly grated parmigiano
  • Chopped Italian Parsley or sprig of fresh basil (optional)
  • Pinch of Salt

Kitchen utensils and cooking tools:

  • Large pot to boil water and cook the pasta
  • Medium size sauce pot
  • Kitchen Wisk
  • Colander to drain the pasta
  • Tongs or pasta server
  • Garlic crusher
  • Small pot to boil chicken
  • Cutting board
  • Chopping knife

Chicken Alfredo Recipe Preparation:

Boil water in a small sauce pan and add the chicken breast. Boil until cooked but tender. Remove from the water and set aside on a plate until it's cool to the touch. Separate the chicken breast into pieces by hand. You can chop the chicken breast if you'd like but I like the look of torn pieces of chicken.

Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta al dente.

In a perfect world you want the pasta to be ready the and add it to the final step of the sauce.

Begin preparing your basic Alfredo sauce recipe.

The only difference is you add the chicken to the sauce at the same time you add the pasta!
